Spinit Privacy Policy
Data Controller
Stellar Ltd, registered at Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Anjouan, Union of Comoros, is the data controller responsible for personal data collected through the Spinit platform. As the operator of Spinit, Stellar Ltd determines the purposes and methods by which player data is processed and is the appropriate point of contact for any privacy related enquiry concerning an account.
What Data Is Collected
Registration collects a player’s full name, date of birth, email address, country of residence, and a chosen password. Payment activity generates transaction records including deposit and withdrawal amounts, dates, and the payment method used. Identity verification, or KYC, requires copies of government issued documents such as a driver’s licence, passport, or Medicare card, together with proof of address. Technical data, including IP address, device type, browser version, and session logs, is collected automatically to support security monitoring and fraud prevention. Cookies and similar technologies collect browsing behaviour across the site, as described below.
Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing
Personal data is processed to open and maintain a player account, process deposits and withdrawals, verify identity in line with anti-fraud and responsible gambling obligations, respond to support enquiries, and communicate promotional offers where a player has not opted out. Processing is carried out on the basis of contractual necessity for account and payment related activity, legal obligation for identity verification and record keeping, and legitimate interest for fraud prevention and platform security.
Cookies and Analytics
Spinit uses essential cookies required for the site to function, including session management and login persistence, alongside analytics cookies that measure how players navigate the platform and which features are used most. Analytics cookies can be disabled through browser settings without affecting core account functions, though disabling essential cookies may prevent the site from operating correctly. A cookie preference notice is shown on first visit, allowing a player to accept or adjust non-essential categories before continuing.
Transfer to Third Parties
Personal data is shared with payment providers to process deposits and withdrawals, with identity verification services to complete KYC checks, and with game providers where necessary to deliver a specific title or live dealer session. Each third party is bound by contractual obligations to handle data securely and only for the purpose for which it was shared. Data is not sold to third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to the operation of the Spinit platform.
International Data Transfers
Because Spinit’s servers and processing infrastructure may be located outside a player’s country of residence, personal data can be transferred internationally as part of normal platform operation. Where such a transfer occurs, Stellar Ltd applies contractual and technical safeguards intended to keep the data protected to a standard consistent with this policy, regardless of where processing takes place.
Data Retention
Account and transaction data is retained for as long as an account remains active and for a further period after closure to meet financial record keeping and anti-fraud obligations. KYC documents are retained under the same principle and are not deleted immediately upon account closure where a legal or regulatory basis for continued retention applies. Data no longer required for these purposes is securely deleted or anonymised.
Data Subject Rights
A player may request access to the personal data held about them, correction of inaccurate details, deletion of data no longer required for a legitimate purpose, restriction of processing in specific circumstances, objection to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest, and portability of data supplied directly by the player. Requests are handled by the support team and a response is provided within a reasonable timeframe once identity has been confirmed.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
A player who believes their personal data has been handled incorrectly may raise the matter directly with Spinit support in the first instance, and may separately have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority with jurisdiction over their location, where such an authority exists.
Contact for Personal Data Requests
Questions about this privacy policy or requests relating to personal data can be sent to [email protected]. Including the registered account email address in the request helps the team locate and action the relevant data promptly.
